One of the primary benefits of smooth fiberglass doors is their low maintenance. The fiberglass reinforced skin is designed to be easily maintained and, unlike wood, it will not splinter, rot, or warp. Compared to steel doors, smooth fiberglass doors will not dent, rot, or rust. This makes them a long-lasting alternative to both wood and steel.
Like all Trimlite fiberglass doors, smooth models also benefit from full-length composite top and bottom rails and stiles on all six sides, which prevent water infiltration and potential rotting or warping. They also include an extra-wide full-length LVL lock block for enhanced strength, stability, and security, allowing for multipoint hardware installation. The 100% CFC-free polyurethane foam core provides superior insulation compared to wood and improved soundproofing.
